ADD and Claustrophobia
Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone out there also has found a relationship between your ADD and claustrophobia. When I'm taking my adderall It doesn't bother me as much. However when I'm not taking it being in an extremely crowded room drives me crazy. One time during a hot summer day in my crowded chapel I felt I had lost it. I felt extremely paranoid and like I would never cool down again. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I don't think claustrophobia is related to "pure" ADD. But some problems that tend to be present in people with ADD are also present with those who have claustrophia or c-phobic episodes. Particularly anxiety and hypersensitivity in the biological category and substance abuse. Reactions to medications and even diet problems can trigger c-phobic episodes. Maybe you can find out more through ********.
