Hi one and all !
OK. I've been on Zoloft, 100mg for about 2 months.
It has helped lessen my depression...but not for my GAD, Social Anxieties and
my main problem, Agoraphobia.
I had my dr. switch me to Paxil CR, 25 mg, 3 days ago. Hoping this one will make me not panic so, when I'm traveling. I have a major fear on big roads...wide open spaces, etc...
As with Zoloft, I notice no side effects.
I read that those two SSRI's are similar.
So I'm wondering if I can still hope for it helping me with my panic on the road, etc, since Zoloft didn't seem to help in that matter.
Actually I felt worse all of a sudden sudden the last few days being still on it AND taking Klonopin !!
I used to be able travel great distances while taking Klonopin !!
I keep having those frightening thoughts that I may do something crazy, like opening the car door while driving....and that some idiot runs into us, etc...
(My hubby had a bad accident in 2004, because of someone elses negligence)
Yeah...so I don't feel as relaxed anymore like before with the benzos.
I also want to mention that I've been taking Wellbutrin SR 150 mg since one month, and had dr. up the dosage to 300 mg a day, to help with Energy and
hoping to lose some of the nightmarish weight gain since taking
AD's.
I feel fine at home...specially when I first get up in the morning.
I just feel the worsening of my Phobia...and my Klonopin does not help anymore like it used to.
I really just like to know if switching from Zoloft to Paxil had a positive effect on YOUR A.phobia ??
My apologies for this long post.....and thank you for reading !
