Hi ladies; I'm new to this but I just wanted to say i've been getting the same panic attacks and heart racing symptoms for about 4 months now. I recently started taking 500 mg in divided dosages of magnesium glycinate and it has helped tremendously. I heard that women in perimenopause can be low in magnesium as estrogen and stress both affect this mineral. Low levels of magnesium can cause many nervous system problems....just what we need. Maybe give it a try; talk to your doctor first if you have kidney problems and see if it helps you as well and let me know. This perimenopause thing has been the worst experience of my life but we will survive
