 Back pain caused by pituitary problems
My doctor said my Lipomatosis may be caused from to much cortisone in my body. This is why the epidurals didn't help, only made things worse. According to him, it could have made things much worse since my spinal cord already has the fat cells putting pressure on it, the epidural could have basically caused a blowout. Any way, It's more than likely my body is producing to much cortisone and this is one of the side effects. It can also be the source of Lumbar stenosis since the cortisone will begin to break down the bone and cartilage. Don't be affraid to ask Your doctors if a chemical issue could be the cause of all your troubles.
