HypoThyroid/Pituitary, Empty Sella?

I believe I read somewhere that low TSH can mean a hypo pituitary, an empty sella? An MRA or MRI has a lot of radiation? And that after diagnosis this is treated with adequate thyroid meds? Can anyone confirm and elaborate?

Also I've read that metformin, decongestants, and other substances can cause a low TSH, when Frees are within range.
