Can these results mean pituitary problem?
I had these results recently:

Free T4 .58 (.58-1.38)
TSH 1.0 (.520-5.080)

I went back the the DR. yesterday and he said it probably was not hypoT or a pituitary disorder, but did relent and do a free T3 test.... no results back yet. He is also testing for rheumatoid arth. and lupus... not sure why.

I guess I just need reassurance- someone to tell me this is worth pursuing, or to move on with my life. I have had symptoms for hypoT for several years and am tired of being tired.

Please, any response would be appreciated. Thanks

My results were the same and my doc started testing for RA and Lupus, too. Tell him you want a referral to an Endocrinologist, that's what I did and the tests the Endo ran is showing pituitary issues.
