Pitiuitary Microadenoma
I have just been diagnosed with Pituitary Microadenoma,I was given the name by my Dr. and he said I could research it on the internet.He said he did a hormone test on me and they were all good .This just showed up on my MRI.He told me that we would just wait 4 months and do another MRI.I am a little nervous.Can anybody give me some advice about this.And is this hereditary?

What all did your doctor test for, and what symptoms are you having? There's so many hormones the pituitary controls, it's possible that some tests were not ordered. Have you had any Cushing's symptoms, and were your ACTH and cortisol levels tested?
