Pituitary microadmoa

I was diagnosed with this at the age of 19. IM now 48. It sounds scary but you'll likely to be ok. In my case they started me on medication. Bromocripton/aka Parladel. The meds made my eyes very sensitive to sunlight.
Never had any treatment for it. However for about 8 years, I had monthly Dr. visits for blood work and yearly MRIs. Until the 9the year they could not find it on the MRI.
It was explained to me that the biggest concern with this is to make sure the tumor does not put pressure on the optic nerve. Your eye Dr. can track that with a visual field test, which is also non invasive. I still have that test done yearly. The only other thing with this tumor is that you may begin to produce breast milk. Some suggested that I bottle it and sell it. Too creepy for me. I have not any symptoms in years. Good luck hopes this gives you some comfort.
