 Confused! Dense spot IN gland?? Any info would help
I received a CT scan and the Dr. said there is a light dense spot IN my pituitary gland. I was knocked out while I was there, and I thought he said on the gland, which would make more sense to me, BUT I just called the nurse and she said its IN the gland itself. She said she couldn't tell me more and that I should get an MRI. I'm working on it, had no luck yet, BUT can any one give me any info on what this could be? I looked online and cant really find anything that makes sense. I see a lot of tumors on the gland itself, but not in it. Nothing makes sense. She said it may also be artifact from the machine.
