Completely wired, shaky legs, hard to stand, turn red and foggy head.
What I am going through right now is every single day...
I wake up and soon after I feel completely wired, almost like I drank a pot of coffee, but so unpleasant. My legs shake like crazy, and I feel so cold..body just shakes like mad. I eat normal...not my blood sugar. I get up thinking if I can just get moving and adrenaline out ill feel better, but two minutes after standing or walking I turn red...mostly my hands, and my pulse goes to about 130. I feel ok in my mind and everything but my body goes haywire. My legs feel so weak and shaky and i get waves of lightheadedness that I end up sitting soon after because its almost unbarable!! Sometimes in the afternoon my eyes start to get well...."googley" and "strange" and I get foggy too...
I've had all the tests...bloodwork, TSH, so on etc etc.....many times, all normal! I'm determined....i keep getting up, keep going into stores, even crazy legs and all, and I havent fainted yet ( thank god) but it never lets up. I do have Valium..but If I take it I pass out pretty quick.
Just want to know if anyone has these issues...... or what you do to help yourself through. Living like this is not living at all.

I used to get the trembly, foggy feelings, high heart rate, like I had too much adrenaline. But I never had the skin turning red symptom you have. My doctor tested just about everything, my heart, thyroid, basic bloodwork, and everything was normal. I was put on a beta blocker (metoprolol) and it resolved most of those symptoms. I still get them sometimes, but a lot of it is anxiety related, it is a vicious cycle of feeling weird, get anxious about it, feel even weirder physically, and so on. For me, the beta blocker helped a lot, it helped the physical symptoms, but also made me feel safe, that if my heart rate got out of control, here was this medicine that would fix it. Also, if I do feel shaky and foggy, just thinking about all the times I have felt that way and nothing bad has ever happened, no heart attack, passing out, dropping dead, etc, so nothing is likely to happen this time.

Most recent hospital trip... got a CT scan on my head, and they said there is a dense mass in my pituitary gland, and I need to go see a neurologist, and get a MRI. I'm waiting on insurance..(some issues) and can't even go see my gp until I have this sorted. At first I was kind of relieved that they found something... but after googling (bad I know) Pituitary tumors... I'm getting worse by the day waiting...a few panic attacks...mostly lightheaded, weak and shaking. My anxiety is sky high now. Trying to remain calm. They wouldnt have sent me home if it was life threatening right? I keep asking myself that... BAH!!
