Poliotin Herb treatment

I'm new to the forum. Thought I would start with a question about 'Poliotin'. Has anybody heard of them, used them, good, bad or otherwise?

Seem to have PPS. Originally had polio in 1948 and now experiencing severe weakness with some discomfort in my legs and arms, same as the original event.

Looking forward to reading and writing on this forum.

Aloha,
GG

Re: Poliotin Herb treatment

I have heard of Poliotin but do not know of anyone that has tried this... From what I understand there is no cure for PPS best thing to do is pace yourself and rest, eat protein and just listen to what your body is telling you. No strenuous(sp) exercises that gives you any pain...

best advise if anything causes pain, fatigue or weakness don't do it or DO much less of it.

Sorry could not be of more help Janet

Re: Poliotin Herb treatment

Ginger- Hi, if it works to help with the pain, do it... But be careful not to overdo - it is hard to find that happy medium- I am still working on it.

It would be wonderful if they could come up with something to give you more strength and energy, less fatigue BUT would not hurt you... All we can do is pray and know we are not alone.

Hugs Janet
