Mild polio, need some inputs
Newbie here. I needed some advice about my right leg that is slightly weaker than my left. It is about 0.5 cm shorter than my left and is almost identical from knee down. However, my thigh is about 4-5 cm less in diameter than my left leg and the difference is much more pronounced in my hip region. I did get vaccine for polio and have been very active physically. It doesn't cause any problems but does hurt during winters and post-strenuous activities.
I am 22 now and it is not genetic. My mother says she started noticing the difference at around 2 yrs whenever she'd give me baths and would feel the right leg to be softer than left. I have had extensive medical care until I was about 10.
My question is if anyone is aware of what this might be (possibly a mild form of polio I believe) and more importantly what kind of specialist should I be seeking for any input in my situation.
I appreciate any input immensely. I have been little inhibited in discussing this with others but the anonymity of internet allows much freedom.
