Metformin & Nausea
Anyone else have problems w/ feeling nauseous all the time on metformin? I actually stopped taking it for about 3 months b/c I was so tired of feeling like crap all the time. But my symptoms started getting worse and weight started to pile on again... so I decided I need to take it. The doc gave it to me for a reason. But I just feel so crappy... I feel sluggish and nauseous all the time... it says to take with food, and I do, but it doesn’t seem to help...??? Anyone else have suggestions???

I take mine only at bedtime and start on 500mg and work your way up by increasing 500mg a week... you will feel bad the first week and then each time you up the dosage you will feel bad for a couple of days but it gets better.... hope this helps, it sure helped me Angelia

Hello, I just wanted you to know that I feel the same way. I even done the same as you did and quit it for a month or two and now I have noticed the weight piling on again and my periods acting crazy. I don't know what to do about it either. When you know something let me know.
