Hi all,
I'm 21 yrs old. My problem starts when i noticed my inability to remember any thing, tend to sleep too much, have a horrible body hair while losing my head hair,& my weight is increasing although i dont eat too much; almost fsting all the day.Once i was visiting a PHC and was discovered to have hypertension.
Any way, i'm a medical student and through my readings i faced a topic called the polycystic ovarian syndrome that has the same symptoms i have.I've seen an endocrinologist that prescribed for me Diane contraceptive pills and spirinolactone (Aldactone).This physician didnt tell me what is exactly my problem except that my suprarenal glands are not enlarged and that the ultrasound revealed that my ovas do not reach the maturity stage instead they are collected at the walls of the ovaries immature.Do you know that my vital signs were not taken.so why did he prescribed spirinolactone!!???
The aldactone drug he described for me has annoyant side effects of nausea and mental confusion;it makes me feel so bad.
Has any body have the same experience?
If yes what are the consequences and the proper therapy for this condition???
Please help...I feel that i'm losing every thing even my future and study.
