Losing Weight with Metformin? - Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Message Board

Has anyone had luck with weightloss while taking metformin? I was taking 500mg 2 times a day now im seeing a new gyn who said it wasnt enough that I should be taking it 3 times a day. I didn't loose any weight with twice a day , just wanted to know if it helped anyone else.

I didn't really loose any weight when i was on 500mg and 1000mg...but since i started the 1500mg i have lost 15lbs....and most of that was without even trying ...i also just started weight watchers to see if that would help at all....altho i haven't been good with keeping track...but the weight is still coming off....just slowly....8o)
