i dont know if this is he right place to post this but i need to put my mind at rest really. i know i should go to a doctor but i have had some nasty experiences with them before....so i was wondering if anyone had any input to this...

let me introduce myself, im a recently turned 18 year old girl, started periods at 13. They have NEVER been regular ever ever. i suppose ive been waiting for everything to turn normal. When it comes to that time i get so emotional a couple of nights before and sometimes have suicidal thoughts. I get exhasted and so fed up, they arnt too painful but heavy, i get them usually every 3-5 months or so. 5 months ago i bled for 2 weeks! never told anyone about it though. I am still a virgin so it cant be pregnancy.

its now been 3 months since my last period. a while back i went to the doctors about it and they said it was due to stress or eating and sent me off to an eating disorders clinic. I do not have an eating disorder (apart from the occasional binge) and i am currently eating quite well. i would say i am not stressed. however making progress with a counsellor (mainly for mild depression and a self injury problem) i dont think it is having anything to do with things though.

i just cant think of what it could be i am a little worried because i would absolutely love to have my own kids one day and would be devastated if i couldnt.
