 How long could it go on
Ok, here i am with frequent periods.My friend with pcos mentioned and that i could have it. I had 2 ultrasounds done about 2 weeks ago.Pelvic and transvaginal.Everything is of normal size and no masses. I know u/s's don't always detect pcos. Now from what i've read about pcos most of the time periods are few and sometimes not at all. I don't have a any pain.I know all women are different and some don't have any symptoms. I have very fine hair on my face but all the women on my mother's side have that but don't have pcos. My real question is how long could pcos go on before something happens to make you want to seek medical attention? If this is the case for me then the hair i'm curious about has been there for about 5 years.Its on my stomach almost like pubic hair.I'm going back to my docs tomorrow to have these results fully explained since they suspected a thyroid problem. I haven't had any unexplained weight gain but i'm a little over weight but thats been gradual not all of a sudeden. I plan on asking my doc about pcos after we're done doing what i'm there for.I hope someone can reply to this..thanks
