I was diagnosed recently with pcos by bloodwork and an ultrasound that showed cysts. I also have irregular periods and hair. My doc just started me on metformin. I have also always had pretty bad acne. I took accutane a few years ago. At the time when I took it, it did clear up my face. But I got pregnant a few months after I went off of it. After I had my daughter my face began to break out again, although it was not as bad and I could control it with lotion and over the counter clean and clear benzoyl peroxide medication. So now finding out that I do have pcos that might be why my acne did come back some, but Im not totally sure. I hope this helps you, but I am new at this also!
