Provera question -do I need it

my doctor prescribed Provera for me to start the end of this month, and then I am to start Clomid. I started my period today. Do i need to call her to tell her, or do I just wait till the day she wants me to start the Provera. This may be a dumb questions, but I am new to this.

Thanks

Re: Provera question -do I need it

yeah i would give them a call since provera makes you have a period, and since you got one on your own you dont need it. and everyone takes clomid at different days of their cycle but normally it's between cd3-5. so if you are going to start this cycle you should find out what day they want you to start!!! good luck!!!

Re: Provera question -do I need it

Thanks, this is my first cycle on Clomid, and I wasn't sure how it worked. I was to go and see her after 5 days on the Provera and she was going to talk to me about how the clomid works. Typically how long do you take the clomid before ovulation?

Re: Provera question -do I need it

you know it's too hard to really say because everyone is so different. i know in my situation with the cycle i'm currently on, that they started whatching for me to o on day 12, but i didn't o until day 18 or 19. so if they dont monitor you with ultrasound to tell when you will o, you will probably have to use a ovulation kit to really make sure you know when!! good luck!!
