I have PCOS and have been on Yasmin for a few years to regulate my periods and it works beautifully. I recently stopped my BC (3 weeks ago) because my hubby and I decided to start TTC.

I spoke to my gyno before and he told me to get off of the pill and, if in 6 weeks I don't have a period on my own, to come in to see him. So, all that being said...I figured it wouldn't hurt to try and drop some weight, seeing as that might help me to conceive. I've been on a very strict diet and exercise regimen for the past 3 weeks and, to my complete and utter shock, I haven't even lost a pound! Could this have something to do with being off of BC? Has anyone ever heard of or experienced this, as well? I hope I'm not alone.
I also wanted to add that I've been able to lose weight in the past easily while on Yasmin. I know having PCOS makes it difficult to lose weight, but while on BC, it wasn't very hard...
