| Re: Insulin resistance
Hi, Innocence: I was diagnosed 20 year ago (I'm now 46) and I can't speak for everyone, but I've never developed diabetes. I have my blood sugar tested every year by my Dr. and it's always been within normal ranges.
I think, like a lot of aspects of PCOS, it depends on the person and also, each person's family history. I'm sure, if someone here on the boards has dealt with it, they'll post and let you know.
Have you asked your Dr. about it? I would think if PCOS is something they diagnose and treat often, they would be able to tell you.
Good luck and keep reading and posting here. It's a good source of info and support. cmpgirl
