| Metformin successful for baby in 2006 but now not?
I am so lucky/fortunate/blessed that I was able to have such success with metformin in 2006. I am on the same dose as I was then and having no luck at regulating my cycle. Since I stopped nursing my daughter last winter I have my period a handful of times. I have been taking an increasing dose since July, ending the increase in November at 1500 mg per day. Period in December, nothing in January and so far nothing in Feb. I am frustrated. Did this happen with anyone else - do we have to tweak our methods even if they worked before? Can that be expected???
