Question wondering

I was diagnosed with PCOS about ten years ago when i was 19. I never had any symptoms or problems until after i had my daughter at the age of 18. It was then my cycle had stopped and i was diagnosed. Well, last year i lost about 30 pounds and started having regular periods again. Would that mean that i started ovulating again? And a few months back i gained some weight back and stopped having regular cycles again. Im assuming the weight gain caused the absence of my cycles. However a few weeks ago i was having some minor pain and cramping in my lower abdomen. I also noticed ALOT of really thin cervical mucus, and exactly two weeks later i started my period. What im wondering, is if its possible that i actually ovulated at that point. And im also wondering if i lose some more weight and my cycles return to normal, will i start ovulating again?

wow! how did you lose weight? I'm doing everything and not dropping a pound. I eat extremely healthy and workout everyday and still remain obese. It is horrible.

and yes, I have read that with weight loss your cycle can return

honestly, i lost a bunch of weight cause i took a job at a department store as a cashier, and i was gettin a lot of exercise walking. i know u wouldnt think that type of job would result in exercise, but it did for me. every chance i got, i would volunteer to be the one to help customers find something, and just things of that nature. I ended up losing around 20 pounds the first month. it was nice, but i ended up having to quit to be home with my daughter, and all the weight came back. and with it, my periods have become so irratic. i wont have one for months and then when i do, i'll bleed and then stop, and then start bleeding again. im so frustrated too, so i know how u feel. And i feel horrible for my husband because he wants a child of his own, and i want to be able to give him one. I'll be 30 this year and i feel like time is running out for me. My daughter will be twelve, and ive spent the last ten years trying to have another with no luck. Of course, 8 of those years was with my ex, who we later found out didnt have any sperm. MYself and my new husband have been tryin for about six months or so now. im not on any medication, so i dont know if it will happen. Im just hoping to lose some weight again and maybe ill start to ovulate.
