Ruptured Cyst Recovery

Hi.
I had a ruptured cyst just over a week ago. It's the first time I have ever experienced this - agony! I have a couple of questions that have occured to me.

The day before this happened, I had a rather intense personal training session at the gym - a lot of cardio, burpees, running, Kettle Bells etc. Is it possible that this has caused the cyst to rupture or maybe just speed up the process?

While the pain subsided within a few days and I was able to stop using painkillers within a couple of days, I felt quite exhausted, headachey and sick a few days later. Is this normal? Could it be put down to the ruptured cyst? My mother, who knows when I'm not well, thinks it took more out of me than I realised.

Thanks for your help.
