it can be hard to feel motivated with what you are going through. I spend a lot of time practically hibernating. It's a defense mechanism, a need to comfort yourself. The meds can help take the edge off of most of the things you are feeling, but they don't cure them. Good old fashioned cognitive therapy will probably work best. You need to remember what happened, understand as much as you can, and put it in the correct context in relation to the rest of your life. That's a big order, and takes time ti fill. Give yourself a break. You're trying to remember hell. Allow yourself some down time.
