Question Sensory Defensiveness and PTSD...are they similar?

Has anyone heard of Sensory defensiveness and PTSD being similar? I'm having a terrible time finding any information geared for adults that is on Sensory defensiveness. I have PTSD from childhood abuse. I found on the internet a questionaire for sensory defensiveness and I was a dead ringer. Put what I am confused about is whether these are symptoms of PTSD or is it a seperate thing like sensory defensiveness. If it is sensory defensiveness, what kind of doctor do I go to? I'm so lost. These symptoms are mentally draining me. Any advice would so gladly be appreciated. Thank you.
