I am new here but definately not to PTSD
I was diagnosed with PTDS a few years ago. From childhood abuse and domestic violence and they even put the loss of my son as a reason for it too. I have triggers that are so very very bad. I have other health problems too. Since I am new I am unsure what all I am to say.

hi im new here too and am in a domestic violence situation on which i to believe i have ptsd . been to a support group which made me aware of the fact that sysptoms i have are ptsd .. never thought of life causing ptsd would like to hear more of your symptoms or whatever you would like to share as i too are new and not sure what these boards are all about ... agmf38

Hi I am so glad you are both here. Welcome! These boards are really great and the people on here have been amazingly compassionate and empathetic. Its nice to know, that in this kind of situation...you are truly never alone. Theres great people on here, and have been really helpful from my experience. Talk to ya later. Take care.

thank you for the warm welcome .. ill check back when i have more info from the dr .. not sure i have ptsd yet but i beliveve i do from emotional/verbal abuse ... i cant be near the person that has done this to me with out startling or shaking .. thanks again for the welcome ..
