Where to start. I am 30 years old and like i said i have been dealing with all of this stuff for about five years. I have always had issues but i was able to push them down. It isn't working anymore. The depression right now is the worst. I have taken a leave of absence from work for a couple of weeks so I can do an outpatient program. I feel like crap about that. I love the kids I work with but it is draining when you are trying to put on a smile all the time. I have PTSD because I was physically and verbally abused by my father my whole childhood. My brother, sister, and mother was too. I also was violated by someone in my neighborhood when I was twelve. I blocked out a lot of what my father did, but more and more memories are coming up. I just can't deal with all of this. It is overwhelming and it hurts so much. I am sure a lot of you feel that way too.

Hi Jenno, I am so glad that you are stopping to work on this. Yeh, you cannot continue to keep pushing it down, it won't work. I wish you luck in working through all of this and I would love to give you as much support as you can take!

Dear Jen,

Yes I think that MOST of us if not ALL of us on here know about abuse, physically, mentally, emotionally, and sexual.....So you can feel safe in that knowledge. We all know what you are going through, and some of us know how far you have to go yet. But it can be done.... It takes work and commitment to acheive it....

If you can talk to us about your first priority then we can give you some advise on how you might tackle that.

I am glad also that you took a leave, it's hard to give support to others, when your mind and head is somewhere else. YOU come FIRST!!!!!!! Always remember that!!!!!!
