dont really want to talk, think my depression and PTSD are gonna make a come-back,you

Hello everyone, like it says in my title. i dont know if i want to talk about it but i have a feeling the PTSD and depression is slowley creeping back so please bear with me,been on meds for a while mow (prozak) and it has helped,i took myself off them because i thought i didnt need them anymore, just got into a new relationship six months ago and he has made me so happy,im not gonna lie or hide it because im not ashamed or embarrased-he is 28 years older than me. i seem to have hit a wall at the moment, he is messed up,going through a divorce which i understand and respect, he had a vesectomy 4 years ago and has told me that he dosn't know whether he wants me to have his children.i had a misscariage 2 weeks before christmas so naturally all i can think about is having children,i help look after his 6 and 4 year old and just wish they were mine.it messed me up and he thinks i wont be happy with him if he decides he dosn't want kids again, which in away i can understand but i need him to give me a chance,im sure its all coming back to me ive spent the last two nights simple crying,i hug him and cry,i kiss him and cry.i know i need patience with him and i am willing to give it. i may be 18 but i cant leave him,he stopped me taking drugs, drinking and self harming-he saved my life,
i dont need an answer to this post,im venting but i do think i may need to see a therapist if he says no to having childrenn,,,,,cassie x

Re: dont really want to talk, think my depression and PTSD are gonna make a come-back,

Hi Cas,

A therapist may indeed do a world of good for you at this point in time.

I realize that you have been through a lot yourself and am concerned that your personal issues are not your primary focus.

The more you show concern for his issues, the less energy is left for your own.

Don't try to take the world on by yourself.
--------------------------------
We have a little history here and you once told me that the doctors felt you were too young for meds. You were finally prescribed prozac, felt better and decided to stop taking it?

Always discuss things of this nature with your prescribing physician.
--------------------------------
Realize that you stopped yourself from using drugs.

He may have been supportive and played a role in helping you place things into perspective but it was you that were at a crossroads and made the decision to cease using those narcotics.

Give yourself some credit here.
--------------------------------
I respect the fact that you "really don't want to talk" but in the even that you do, know that we are here.

When in doubt, post it out.

Take care of yourself; seriously.

With respect,

Phoenix
