Looking for wives with husbands have PTSD,so i can maybe understand his argumentative attitude,me,me,me stuff,He RA also so he doesn't do very much .One lady that i caught on a website told me to give him boundries.My husband was not in the war,he was on a submarine and it almost went down, that and his childhood.He also has some issues from working at a womens prison.I guess that i should have a little bit more compashion,but u have to live with this to understand.

I can only speak from the other side - the PTSD side, I know I get short tempered because I dont sleep much - I get argumentative over stupid things that I beat myslef up about later - overreacting is something i have to watch out for all the time - I have no energy so my place looks like a tip - I do as much as i can when i can but sometimes it all seems overwhelming and i withdraw from the world - I wne ton antidepressants which helped me sleep and saw a psyche which is also helping me cope - I always felt/feel that talking about it to anyone is putting a burden on them that they shouldnt have to bear - but i think it would be better if i did then they would understand more - seeing a psyche helps you get rid of a lot of the emotions that are pent up inside but it also brings to the surface others that you havnt dealt with yet - - I hope things get better for you both sooner rather than later - PTSD is a hard journey for us to take but I think it can be just as hard for our loved one's - hang in there MBC
p.s., a lot of the time i am angry with myself about not being over this and sometimes this spills off to other people and it really hurts - i apologise but i know its not enough
