Loud Noises
Does anyone with PTSD notice loud noises make them react abnormally?

Yes, one of the symptoms of PTSD is being easily startled or frightened. It is very embarrassing

Yes, same here....one of the characteristics...I think it's called hypersensitivity....maybe

The guys at work think it's funny to startle me with loud noises because I jump and react so much. I ask them to stop, but they keep doing it. I don't want to explain to them why I react so much to it. I've tried controlling it, but I can't.
