Ptsd

I have severe PTSD and it is affecting my job. I got the ok at work for some time to get help at the hospital.
I am afraid I am going to come back without a job

Hi and welcome

Was your PTSD incurred at work? if so they may have a responsibility to keep your job open for you. If not it sounds like a good sign that they are willing to let you have time off to get some help.

I am glad you are going to get some help - goign through PTSD alone is hard - but psychologists/psychiatrists can be very helpful in getting you through this - take care MBC

From what I understand, an employer cannot fire someone because of having a mental illness or other condition (such as PTSD) under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Meds:
Depakote 1500mg
Prozac 40mg
Risperdal 1mg titrating to 6mg/day
Klonopin .5mg (2x/day)
Trazodone 100mg or 200mg PRN

it was caused by severe truama as a child. I am a proffessional who is going down hill fast. I go to treatment in a week. It is getting togh at work.
