trying to cope
I am a gunshot survivor and to try and function day to day I've bought and hid guns all over my house. I kept telling myself the goal was to not use them. My friend was having trouble with a stalker so spent the night with her and he tried breaking in so I shot him. The police cleared it as justified force, but there not the ones that have to live with it.

Hi JAF86,

I am sorry for what has happened to you - you have been through a major trauma - are you getting any councilling?

a psychologist could help you get through this - work through all the emotions involved - help you with coping techniques -

post here if you need to get things out of your head -
