Re: ppd

Well first are you being treated by a doctor for this?? If not then you need to,most times it can go away on its own but not always. Really though go see your doctor if you havent and work on getting some form of treatment.

Re: ppd

Hi Damaged, do call your doctor. Relief could be just a call away. Being pregnant really screws up our hormones and that can cause depression. You might need something to get your balance back. From what I have hear baby blues are supposed to abate within a couple of weeks. So you are definetly overdue for some relief. Let us know what happens.

Re: ppd

PPD can last for years I think. It lasted for 7 months or so for me. I didn't get help from my dr. and I didn't tell anyone. I just thought I was going crazy. Go to your dr right away and make sure they give you something. You'll be fine soon so don't worry too much but you need to get help!

I'm pg with my first child and have a history of depression and anxiety - please keep us posted on how you cope with this and what your doc says. Thanks!
