Well, I finally figured out the names for all of my weird symptoms, i.e., seeing geometric shapes at night, floating feeling and having a braine freeze, or short circult of the brain, it's called "brain zaps" and HPPD. I know the zaps are usually caused from withdrawals from antidepressant medications and the HPPD is a post hallucinagenic state, where weeks, months or years after you stop taking hallucinagenic drugs, your mind can still see things, i.e., geometric shapes and a static at night, as though you are watching t.v. static. Mine was the result of doing too much ecstasy, although I really did not do that much, every month or so for a few years, with no other drugs. I haven't done it now for 4 months and have will never again. Self-inflicted wounds for sure. Question: anyone have "brain zaps" caused from too much illegal drug use like ecstasy or LSD or shrooms? If so, how long did the zaps last? Athogh I wish it would go away, I can handle the HPPD, as it's just strange seeing things now and then, but the zaps is a VERY scary occurence and you never know when it's going to happen.
