| Re: whats the real deal with precum?
OK -- I'm not sure what gland produces what, I'm not a doctor, and I think that if you really want to know the details behind that, you should ask a doctor. You can't just rely on information that you read somewhere.
I can tell you, that babies have been made by people who only produced precum during sex. Sperm is required to make babies (unless of course we're talking about genetic engineering and cloning...), so obviously, sperm was present in the precum that resulted in these pregnancies.
People aren't lying to you when you are warned about precum. Precum can definately result in pregnancy and it has resulted in many, many unplanned pregnancies throughout time.
It sounds like you're looking for some sort of justification or reason not to worry because maybe you have had sex and are worried about the effect of the precum. Perhaps you think the pull-out method would suffice, and you're looking for proof on that. If you continue to think this way, most likely, your proof on the presence of sperm in precum will come when your actions have resulted in an unplanned pregnancy.
Bottom line -- you have unprotected sex (heck, even protected sex) you could become pregnant. Use birth control and condoms.
Sorry to sound blunt, but thats the way it goes!
And I'm not sure what these other posters are talking about "round 1 or round 2" precum ... I suppose they mean like a second time having sex in one session? Or precum twice before an orgasm? I don't know .. but I don't think it matters if the precum is round 1 or round 2 ... If liquid comes out of the penis (excluding urine) it could contain live sperm.
