Okay im 19 years old. I am on Ortho Tri Cyclen for BC. The last time I had sexual intercourse was end of May/ Beginning of June. I had a normal pap test on June 14/2006.
Since then I have had 3 periods, counting the one for this month, I noticed the first couple were a little bit different then usual, there was brownish discharge before my period, and it was a little bit lighter. I have just had this strange feeling in my stomach, and have noticed I have been producing more gas. I dont know if gas is what could be my problem, but I am a little scared.
I took a HPT during my last period, which was about a week ago, Sunday, and the result was clearly negative, should I just stop worrying or is there still a chance of pregnancy? because I have heard many cases where women have been pregnant with a normal period, so that had me worried. Thanks for all the help!
girl, you are not pregnant! if you were the pregnancy test would definately show it after 3 months trust me on this and stop worrying. your light peroids are probably from your birth control pills, i think i am on the same ones as you, and there have been times where i only had my peroid for 2 days and it was really light and brownish like you said, i was having sex, but wasnt pregnant. i used to have horrible peroids, but now i rarely get a moderately heavy one. So you should stop worrying about this or you will be really freakin every month when you are sexually active!
Can I stop worrying?
