Hi, the best thing to do is calm down, the worst thing you can do if stress yourself out, this will make you even more late than normal. I'm constantly late all the time, i never know when i'm due, i just guess, and i only have a period for 2 days each month. But i do suggest you don't worry yourself it's only been 5 days so give it alittle longer then take a urine sample to your doctors and the receptionist will send it off to the hospital-free of charge.
and they will contact you, or you them.

Well like the others say worrying about possibly being pregnant can make you even later! lol i know how that one works. But i will say when i found out I was pregnant I had been experiencing cramps like I was going to start my period but when I was 2 days late I knew something was going on by the way my urine looked/smelled. I think the best thing you could do is take a home sample even if you have to hide it it needs to be done. ALSO you do not have to spend 15-30 dollars on a home test if you can't afford it. The 1 dollar - 5 dollar tests work just as well trust me I took PLENTY of them. I think the sooner you find out the best for you and the baby. You can never start too early on prenatals! wishes the best for you

that sounds exactly what hsppend to me i had severe stomach pains (cramps) and no period... i thought it was a gall stone or something but the doctor said i was actually pregant and it was my hormaones and my body moving my insides around to prepare for the baby that was causing the pain....take tylenol for the pain , it has no affect on the unborn child like asprin or other things do...i suggest its time to visit your doctor
