Please help!!

Hi everyone,

I took the Morning after pill on April 25, and my period came normally on May 10th. However, my second period came 7 days late, which was on June 17th. Now it is July 13th, I still have not had my period. Does the Morning after pill change my normal schedule? Am I late already or should I count from the 17th as a starting date as "a month"? - Which I should not count as "late" until the 17th?

I have taken a few pregnancy tests in between April 25 and June 17th, and all came out negative. I also did a blood test on June 17th which came out negative (should be accurate by then?). Is it possible that I am still pregnant?

Thank you so much if you can help me answer my questions!! I'm freaking out..

Re: Please Help!!

The morning after pill can affect your cycle, but you can take your starting date from the last period you had. You are not late yet. Please do not have unprotected sex, or one month you will be pregnant. Sera

Re: Please help!!

You should use June 17th as the start of new cycle, so you are not late for this month. If you had a negative serum test June 17th, you should be fine unless you had unprotected sex this month. You'll probably start in the next few days depending on your normal cycle length.

Should I be worried if it doesn't come? I've had two periods before this is there any possibility that I will still be pregnant?

Re: Please help!!

I think there is some confusion in your thinking. Having unprotected sex and taking the morning after pill doesn't mean you were pregnant. IF an egg gets fertilized, the morning after pill prevents it from implanting in the uterine lining, which is sloughed off with the next period. So you are woorying excessively, I think. Just please be sure to have a reliable method of birth control. The morning after pill is not intended for that purpose.
