I am sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone here and what caused it. Ok here goes. Tonight when I was getting ready for work I took a nice long bath and noticed something on my breast that I have never noticed before. I do monthly breast exams on myself and I have never noticed this before. I was wondering what causes this. When I press it thick white stuff came out but only a little. It isn't a pimple cause it is not sore. I have 5 on one breast and 2 on the other. The best way I can explain it is it looks like a cluster of white head pimples in several different spots on each breast.
I should say I have been trying to conceive for over a year now. I also had a 1 day period on Nov. 25. It was heavy and then turned brown the next day. My BBT has never dropped. It has remained high since last ovulation. I took a HPT last week and it was neg. My RE is going to start me on clomid next cycle.
I feel my hormones are messed up. I am wondering could hormones cause these bumps on my breast and what is this?
I would appreciate any imput if you have experienced this. Thanks in advance.

I think I know what you mean. I have recently started getting them myself. Bumps very close to the actual nipple, right? For the past three months, I have had these bumps too, and I have a clear/milky white discharge from both breast plus, my last three periods have only lasted a day or two, very unusual for me. My doctor can't tell me why this is happening. At my last appointment, he actually made a joke and said." Are there any other questions I can't answer for you?" If anyone has any ideas let me know.
YES! the bumps are close to the nipple but I have a few on the areola a little away from the nipple too. Also, I have noticed that my hair is getting oily the day after I wash. I usally wash my hair everyother day but all this week I have been having to wash everyday. I was thinking though it could be due to the weather change. But I thought that was kind of odd, maybe its nothing.

The Montgomery glands, the small pimple-like glands on the areola, also enlarge during pregnancy. The role of the Montgomery glands is to secrete a substance that lubricates and helps to protect the areolae from infection. Women should avoid using soap, or doing any preparation or "toughening" of the nipples, since this may interfere with the effectiveness of the Montgomery glands and does not reduce the occurrence of nipple soreness as was once thought.
Just to specify to the ladies that have said they have had them forever, because a lot of people assume i am talking about the bumps you get around the outer part of your areloa(circular area around the nipple) that appear when you are cold or aroused ect. These bumps I am talking about appear near or on the actual nipple. Why would I just be getting these now?

Momma thanks it is more clear now. I never had that before or noticed it. But if you say you haave been having them for 3 months and nothing to worry about then I will not worry no longer.
