Cramping at 28 weeks???

I am having cramps & some pain at 28 weeks. The doctor said it could be her positioning changing. She has been moving & seems to be lower. He said if it kept up to come back. Do you think I should be worried? It is just very uncomfortable & hurts at times. I don't want to be overly paranoid but not underly either. This is my first so I don't know what is normal to feel.

Thanks for your help,
Andrea

Most likely its either growing pains, positioning, or you may be a bit dehydrated. Last week once or twice I had gotten a bad cramp and got a little nervous. It really stopped me in my tracks for a while. I than sat down relaxed and had a big glass of water. Within an hour I felt better. My baby also changes positions, sometimes very low which makes me extremely uncomfortable. Other times I feel great. I would say to drink up and relax. If it goes away it was most likely for the reasons above. I was very paranoid my last pregnancy so I kind of knew what to expect this time around and I can say I havent been as much of a paranoid wreck calling the doctor every week.

Re: Cramping at 28 weeks???

I agree I am also 28 wks and have noticed a change I can tell he is really getting bigger and sometimes when he moves it is painful. I can tell it will be fun from here on out. Have you had any Braxton Hix yet? I think I have had a few my stomach is pretty firm all the time so its hard for me to tell. Good luck

I feel the same way...she is getting really heavy. I can tell the difference everyday. She moves around and it hurts in certain spots. I have had braxton hicks since I was 20 weeks. The day of my sonogram to be exact.
