Help - Nausea and Hot Flashes in 2nd trimester

I'm 15 weeks now and in the last week or so I've begun to experience nausea, dizziness and hot flashes. I didn't have any of this in the first trimester. The second trimester is supposed to be the time when you feel your best, right? So is there something wrong that I'm now feeling horrible?

Thanks.

Re: Help - Nausea and Hot Flashes in 2nd trimester

my 2nd trimester is when i had the most symptoms--hot flashes, nausea, the works. i wouldnt worry too much about it, but mention the dizzies to your doc as you could have low blood pressure or not enough iron. try pepermint to soothe your tummy, it really works!

Re: Help - Nausea and Hot Flashes in 2nd trimester

The 2nd trimester you will feel a bit better than the 1st but for some people that isnt the case. I am 30+ weeks and still on nausea medication as I have it throughout. I too get dizziness sometimes which comes & goes. I never know how I will feel from day to day or minute to minute so I cant really say to you how you should be feeling right now because it is different with everyone.

Thanks ladies. I feel a little better knowing that I'm not the only one having a not so great 2nd trimester so far. At least it's not a sign of something terrible.
