Angry How common are False Negatives???

Hello, I'm sure this question has been asked several times before. Here's my situation (I'll keep it short) . . .

I've always had a very regular cycle - like clockwork - well, I'm over a week late, but continue to get negative BFN's. I've tried them all, some of which are very sensitive. I'm totally stumped! I'm 24, healthy, and take care of myself. I've never had a late period in my life. what could be the cause of this delay???

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate it!

Trish

Re: How common are False Negatives???

My dr told me that false negatives are more of a problem than false positives. I asked cause I was so totally shocked at my BFP. I think if you don't start soon, take another HPT or visit your dr. Good Luck!

Re: How common are False Negatives???

My Doctor told me there are NO false positives, he didn't say anything about false negatives, which I have heard alot about them on this board. Being sick, on a new strong medication or under stress can affect AF. Goodluck!
