cervical check question?
At my 37 week appt the other day the nurse had me get undressed to do a cervical check. When I saw the doctor he said the baby was still in the breech position. A few moments later he said he wasnt going to do a cervical check today. Is there a difference with the baby being head down or breech that he would be more concerned about doing a check. The week prior I had my strep B test and he said everything was fine. I know they check my urine weekly now. Maybe that didnt show I would be ready to deliver any time soon? Im not overly concerned about it but just curious.

I don't think there would be a difference. I know when I went for my 36wks check up the nurse asked me if I wanted him to check me and I said yes I figured they would everytime but I guess thats not the case. I go for my 37 wk check up on Monday. Have they talked about trying to turn the baby he still has time. good luck may we see some results soon.
