If she has a problem with a pap smear, can you imagine the panik she is going to be in for the delivery?! All she has to do is talk to her doctor and explain her fears and the doctor, a good one anyway, will give her a play-by-play of what is happening as he's doing it. She does need to see a doctor if she's pg, definitely. If she's that nervous, maybe getting a woman doctor will help ease the tension. I really don't think that giving her something to ease the nervousness while she's pregnant isn't a really good idea. There is ABSOLUTELY no pain involved in a pap smear what-so-ever, only a little uncomfortableness.
