I am suppose to be induced in 4 weeks (due to my son starting school, new to area, and mom going to stay at a certain time to help with all, plus husband's new job) Anyway, I went to the Dr yesterday and with all the BH I have been having I was sure that something was going on, but nothing. This happened with my son, he was 2 weeks overdue. I am nervous he will not be able to induce with nothing going on.

Any experience on this or ideas?

Louise how far along are you? I hope that you can get induced on time I am sure that within the next four weeks somethin will start happeneing.

Hi,
I was induced with my first pregnancy andnothing was going on.

So I believe you can be induced without anything happening.
Although for me the baby just wasn't dropping, so after 12 hours of labor/contractions I had c-section.
Not to say that will happen to you. I think my bones are too narrow for the baby to go through. I am not a tiny , skinny person either.
But anyway i have known others who have been induced also when nothing was going on.
