I had mine during the first trimester of my first pregnancy. I didn't know I was pregnant until I was almost 3 months because I didn't suspect it. My period during the pregnancy was not really different (at least not different enough to make me suspect something). I found out I was pregnant only because I ended up at the ER due to something completely unrelated to pregnancy. I was also told that it is technically not a period...........it is called first trimester bleeding. From what I've heard from other women that have experienced it, I guess there is a noticeable difference, but I don't recall it.
