morning sickness stories

i am aprox 8 weeks along and starting last week i have been no nauseated it is just nasty. i started to take a prenatal with extra B6 and that has seemed to help. i was just wondering though, because i am so paranoid after my m/c in march, if this is considered to be my symptoms going away (which is not a good sign) or if anyone else has had m/s on and off, or if B6 gave them the same relief. i just wanted to hear some different stories of m/s so i can feel better mentally. thanks.

Re: morning sickness stories

I had m/s day and night starting around 6 weeks and lasting until I think around 12 weeks or so. It was horrible, I couldn't eat anything. I was given an extra B vitamin that I took in the morning but it didn't help at all. I was then given Zofran. I really didn't want to take any meds though so I suffered with the m/s for a while longer and then decided to try it one day. I took one pill that day and never had any m/s since. I got a little worried too at how abruptly my symptoms stopped and the fact that I didn't have to take anymore medication after the one time but everything has been fine and the baby is healthy. I think it just happens that way for some people.

Re: morning sickness stories

I have had M/S throughout my whole pregnancy. they say for most women it eases up after the first tri-mester.

Good luck

Re: morning sickness stories

I had evening sickness from 7 weeks until about 15 weeks. I am now at 34 weeks and it has come back! I now have morning sickness and have absolutely no appetite. I called the Doctor because I thought something was wrong but he said all is fine. Morning sickness can attack at anytime during the pregnancy.

Re: morning sickness stories

I had such horrible morning sickness that my doctor told me he had never had a patient as sick as I was. He also told me that m/s is a sign of a healthy pregnancy because your body is producing sufficient hormones (which are the cause of the sickness.) I had two healthy babies and I threw up 24 hours a day for months. One day I counted and I threw up over thirty times in less than 24 hours so hang in there and I hope you get to feeling better.

Re: morning sickness stories

see the point is that i am feeling better. i want to know if it's because of the extra B6 or if i should take it as a sign that my hormone levels are decreasing. i realize no one here can tell that for sure. i was hoping for some feed back to B6 supplimentation. i know that 8 weeks is a little too early for the m/s to leave or be done. i am hoping it is just the B6. funny that i almost wish to be sick.

Re: morning sickness stories

I had m/s from the very begining. I didn't even know I was pregnant and was throwing up and very nausuous all the time. I am 12 weeks today and some days I have nothing while others are really bad. I found that bannana's have helped me a lot. I haven't vomited in a few weeks now but am still nausous. Good Luck. And I hope we all don't have m/s through out our pregnancies. I am miserable that;s for sure.
