OK, I know this may sound really silly but here goes.
My DH and I are TTC and my O days begin today. However, I have a gyno appointment on Friday (my scheduled annaul). Problem is what if I am PG could the pap harm? Sine it would be so soon after O I probably wouldn't be able to tell right? What should I do? Any suggestions?

Hi, I had a pap done a few days after I found out I was pregnant, it was already scheduled. I just told my doctor and so she didn't do the full internal, just tell you doctor that you are ttc and that you ovulated a few days ago. hope this helps.
I actually scheduled my yearly to get a pg test. The doctor knew I had a positive before he did the exams and did the full exam, plus he stuck his finger in my anus (little uncomfortable). I think this was to check the back of my unterus. Anywho, if sex can't hurt the baby, I don't see how a pap or pelvic could!!!
It won't hurt the baby. I had a pap at my first OB appt, when I was 10 weeks pregnant. Most OBs give you a pap at your first OB appt, so you should be fine if you do end up being pregnant.

wouldn't hurt the baby. Just and FYI though...your suppose to abstain from sex atleast 48 hours prior to a pap smear though.....otherwise you run the risk of getting an abnormal read.
