I'm 32 weeks pregnant and sometimes the baby moves in my belly really jerky and fast, it looks like a muscle spasm or something but I know its the baby. Does anyone elses baby kick or move like this? I'm probably just paranoid, but I just want to make sure it isn't a seizure or something.
When I was pregnant last year -- I swear it felt like something out of the movie alien. I felt kinda bad, but it seriously creeped me out. DS was very active and you could see him moving around, making my stomach ripple.
it is normal, however if you feel that the movement is "frantic" then you should contact your health care provider. this can indicate that the baby is in some sort of distress. you should know "frantic" from active i guess- not sure how the definition changes, but that is what they told me.

How do you know the difference between active and frantic? My baby moves like that alot. When i watch my belly it's just going crazy. So how do i know the difference.
i know, i think they tell you that stuff so we worry all the time. i guess frantic is like trying to fight their way out of covers, or a wet blanket. thats my take on it.

I read today that in this stage of pregnancy it is normal, and the baby is probably just hiccuping!!! I'm not too worried about it now, thanks for all the responses!!!
